Welcome to our website, and thank you for your interest in our group psychotherapy practice.
Curious about our name ‘Eclectic Therapy Collective?’ For starters, just call us ETC. At ETC, we are a group of therapists who use an approach called eclectic therapy. We seek to directly meet the client and their needs by integrating techniques from many different therapy modalities to form the most effective treatment plan. We understand that one of the most challenging aspects of the therapeutic process is finding a warm, judgment-free zone for reflection and growth, as well as a space which helps you develop an effective toolkit of coping skills and strategies. For us, we find that happens best when using an approach that tailors to each client individually. Our belief in an eclectic approach also emphasizes the importance of cultural competency and spiritual/religious values in our work together.
Our practice is completely virtual, and our therapists are skilled in a variety of theoretical orientations. Depending on your individual therapist and treatment plan, modalities could include art therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, expressive arts, internal family systems, mindfulness and much more.
Please reach out to us so we can help you identify the best fit therapist on our team. Some of our specialities include: ADHD, anger management, adjustment, anxiety, dual disorders/substance use, depression, grief, trauma/PTSD.
**Please note as of 10/1/2024, we are not accepting new patients.**

How to Start?
We encourage potential clients to schedule 15-minute consultations with a provider to briefly check-in on being a good clinical fit. Your first one-to-two appointments will focus on reviewing intake paperwork, consent forms and office policies, and creating a treatment plan which lists your goals for therapy. We recommend that clients begin therapy on a weekly schedule, but you can talk about doing a bimonthly or monthly schedule with your provider if there are scheduling or financial concerns. To best understand your financial responsibility for sessions (ex. copays, coinsurance, and deductibles), we ask that you contact your insurance company prior to your first session. To do this, please call the customer service number on the back of your insurance card and ask if mental health therapy is a covered service, and if so then ask what your financial responsibility is. Sometimes insurance will ask you about procedural codes to look this up (also known as CPT codes) which are: 90791 initial intake, 90837 for a 55-minute session, and 90834 for a 45-minute session.
When scheduling a consultation request through this website, please note the website will notify the respective provider of the request, which will then be accepted or denied based off provider availability. A consultation request is a not an automatic guarantee of an appointment. A follow-up email will occur with either a confirmation or denial, and if confirmed, you will be asked to sign a brief telehealth consult form via email. Please note the time of your consultation may not be the same time available as an ongoing weekly appointment time - this will be determined during the consult itself. Consultations can also be scheduled by calling the office directly. When a provider and client agree to work together and establish an initial appointment, your provider will send you a brief list of new patient FAQs describing what happens leading up to, and including, the first appointment.
All assigned paperwork must be completed 24 hrs in advance of the appointment or consultation, or it is automatically canceled. Our electronic health record system heavily relies on email to communicate scheduling information and introductory paperwork, so please be mindful to use an accurate and frequently checked address to receive prompt information.
